Our Flavors
At carefree Cakery, all of our recipes are made entirely from scratch. These are the core cake and cupcake flavors that we offer. Additional specialty flavors are available and coming to the page soon! All flavors can be made gluten free and/or vegan upon request.
Cake Flavors
Red Velvet
A buttermilk cake with a hint of cocoa and a silky texture. The ruby red color and rich flavor make this a beautiful and decadent treat! Topped with cream cheese buttercream by default.

Lemon Cake
A light lemon cake with a summery tartness. This cake goes exceptionally well with our lemon, strawberry, or raspberry buttercream!

Chocolate Cake
Dark, decadent, rich, and absolutely delicious! Whether it's gluten free, vegan, or traditional, our chocolate cake is one of our best! It pairs well with chocolate, raspberry, mint, or peanut butter buttercream.

Strawberry Cake
I remember loving strawberry box mixed cakes as a kid. I bought a box recently because I was feeling nostalgic and I was shocked by how little it actually tasted like strawberries. This cake is completely different. It's packed with real strawberry flavor and still has the fun, charming pink color I remember from my childhood!

Carrot Cake
Our carrot cake is our crown jewel! Uniquely moist and spicy, our carrot cake has a bit of pineapple sweetness with the rich flavor of warm spices to keep you coming back. It's a surprising twist on tradition that's earned favor with lots of people who don't even consider themselves carrot cake fans!
Vanilla/Funfetti Cake
Our vanilla cake is a moist, buttery cake with a subtle sweetness that perfectly balances any of the buttercream frosting options available. Add sprinkles for a colorful, playful touch to make any event just a little bit more fun!
Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Cake
You read that correctly! Our Chocolate chip cookie dough cake captures the fun flavor of chocolate chip cookies but in cake form! Pair it with our delicious chocolate chip cookie dough buttercream for a unique flavor experience that can't be beat!
Almond Cake
A classic, refined flavor that's great for weddings and birthdays alike! It pairs beautifully with almost any buttercream.
Buttercream Flavors
As of right now, we only use American Buttercream on our treats. For those of you who are familiar with the texture of grocery stores' "traditional" and "whipped frosting", ours lands right between the two. As far as flavor goes, real butter speaks for itself! Our buttercream is rich, creamy, and not too sweet, so it's a winner for children and adults alike!
